Swap your car for a bike!
Because we are defenders of sustainable tourism, we encourage our tenants to leave their car parked as much as possible. The Vendée coast is congested in the summer and there is already so much to do in the surrounding area.
Here, you will not find ads for bus/car tours but sharing bike/foot rides and memorable experiences. We are not paid to share the links of service providers, the quality is there;).
Walk among donkeys and goats
Get on a bike and follow the "Richard Coeur de Lion" route towards the marsh observatory. The 25 km ride will take you towards Talmont-Saint-Hilaire. You can admire the Abbey of Lieu Dieu, come across donkeys from the therapeutic farm of câlinons du marais and even taste oysters at the port of La Guittière! This site is classified Natura 2000 and protected, cars are prohibited.
On the step of Clémenceau
This 20 km return trip will allow you to visit the maison de Georges Clémenceau,
where he resided until his death.
Do not hesitate to extend to the Conches de Longeville-sur-Mer. This gigantic stretch of sand is magnificent at nightfall and is also one of the best surf spots in the department! Near Bud Bud Beach is the Longeville surf club which offers all-inclusive packages as well as surf courses.
Treat yourself to a cocooning moment
The Aigue-Marine relaxation area (3 minutes walk) is a place allowing relaxation and letting go. It includes a balneotherapy bath, sauna and Hammam, massage chairs, all in an atmosphere with natural and warm tones.
